What we collect

Scholarship applications: parent or guardian name, email, phone, the student's name, school, grade, school year requested, how the student qualifies, your home address in Anchorage if you qualify as a City of Anchorage taxpayer, household size, the kinds of help requested, and any notes you add.

Gift and company forms: your name, email, gift amount, company name (if applicable) and any message.

We do not ask for income, Social Security numbers, or payment card details on this website.

How we use it

We use your information to review applications, contact you about your application or gift, issue giving instructions and receipts, and run the scholarship program. We do not sell your information or share it for marketing.

Income verification

Household income is confirmed by an independent third-party verifier. Income details are kept blind and are not disclosed to Anchorage Education Fund.

Who can see it

Only authorized Anchorage Education Fund personnel can view submitted forms. Our website, hosting and database providers process data on our behalf to run the site. Public visitors cannot read submitted applications or gift forms.

Public totals

The counters on our home page show only totals: the number of applications and the dollars received. They never show names or details.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete the information you submitted, email scholarships@anchorageeducationfund.org. Students' information is used only for the scholarship program.
